Who we are
Eagle Lake Lutheran is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). We appreciate the diversity of congregation in the engaging mix of long-time members and those new to the area, as well as members from all Christian faith traditions.
Our Congregation
The Eagle Lake Lutheran Church was founded on October 17, 1871, with a membership of 28 adults and 32 children. Since then, we’ve gone through numerous changes and enhancements. One of the biggest changes was the addition of a new sanctuary, which started construction in 2005. Worship in the new sanctuary took place in August, 2006. A re-conditioned pipe organ now adds much to the worship. Eagle Lake Lutheran Church continues to reach out to the community and nation and world through worship, study, and work.
